Some stories begin with a serious subject.

This was not one of them.

We became entangled in a conversation about a mysterious organisation with the promising name SOFIA. Within ten minutes we had a Netflix poster, two secret agents, a duck with an orange crest and a headquarters that, according to everyone, was secret… except according to its contact page.

Naturally, it did not stop there.

Donald was not on a secret mission. Donald was looking for coffee. Sam tried to explain everything logically. Dave was the only one who remained vaguely realistic. And somewhere along the way, the finest line in the whole story appeared:

You don’t find SOFIA.
SOFIA finds you.

It sounds like a gripping thriller.

In reality it was mainly an evening when AI and a substantial dose of silly humour found each other. Another idea kept appearing: a hidden “Quack” in the bench, a file called The Duck Protocol, a coffee cup saying Need to Coffee, and a world map on which Horsewei 10 had suddenly become a strategic location.

AI can help build worlds like this remarkably quickly. Not because AI tells the story, but because one loose thought is enough to start imagining together.

Perhaps that is AI’s greatest strength.

Not the answer.

But the pleasure of inventing together.

And honestly…

I would watch that series.

Quack. 🦆
