There are working days that could end with an extensive evaluation.

And there are working days for which three sentences will do.

What a day.
What weather.
Fortunately, no Lego bricks on the floor.

Rain dries. The schedule eventually straightens itself out. A misrouted parcel can be fixed. An Excel file ultimately gets the right formula.

But a Lego brick…

It waits patiently.

Not in the middle of the floor, but precisely where you do not expect it. Preferably when you are wearing socks, your head still full of targets, roll containers, colleagues and the question of whether ten thousand parcels will be reached again tomorrow.

Some people call Lego a toy.

Experts call it a passive defence system.

And so it turns out once again that happiness sometimes lies not in what does happen, but in what does not.

So yes.

What a day.

What weather.

And fortunately, everyone made it past the only logistical disruption no schedule can withstand without injury today.
